This photo was made in Parco Sempione. the bridge was built in 1842 and it was the first metal bridge in Italy. Originally it was located on the Navigli; When Navigli was bury it was moved inside the park.
Questa foto è stata scatttata al Parco Sempione. Il ponte fu costruito nel 1842 e ù il primo ponte metallo costruito in italia. Originariamente era collocato su i Navilgi, quando questi furono interrati fù spostato nel parco.

The sixteen columns of the II century dC are the most important roman site in Milan. Probably they made part of a temple or a public thermal system. This is another place where in the evening, there are a lot of people, especially in the warm season and in the week ends. I love spent my time here with my friends! Usually we came here for happy hour.
Le sedici colonne del II secolo dopo cristo costituiscono il più importante resto romano in città. Probabilmente facevano parte o di un tempio o di un'impianto termale. Questo è un'altro posto dove la sera, specialmente nelle stagioni calde e nei fine settimana, si ritrovano un sacco di giovani.

The Navigli were the way of more important communication for Milan, their construction began in 1179, in the 1482 Leonardo da Vinci it realized the system of sluices that allowed navigation from the Como's lake until to Milan and in the 1805 Napoleone it completed the construction of the Naviglio Pavese who allowed the transport of necessary marbles to the construction of the Dome. With the advent of the trains, the automobiles and industrialization the Navigli fell in disuse and came bury (1929-30) in order to allow streets construction. Today the Naviglio Grande and the Naviglio Pavese make up one of the most charming places in Milan with hundreds of clubs standing on each side . In the evening, they are always full of people, especially in the warm season and in the week ends.
I navigli furono la via di comunicazione più importante per Milano, la loro costruzione iniziò nel 1179, nel 1482 Leonardo da Vinci realizzò il sistema di chiuse che permetteva la navigazione dal Lago di Como fino a Milano e nel 1805 Napoleone completò la costruzione del naviglio Pavese che permise il trasporto dei marmi necessari alla costruzione del Duomo. Con l'avvento dei treni, delle automobili e dell'industrializzazione i navigli caddero in disuso e vennero interrati (1929 e 30) per permettere la costruzione di strade. Oggi è una delle zone più suggestive di Milano su cui si affacciano migliaia di locali notturni. La sera, specialmente nelle stagioni calde e nei week end, sono sempre gremiti di gente.

The building was designed by Ponti together with Fornaroli and Soncici in collaboration with engineer Bertolaia.
